Before installing the roof rack, it is recommended to place a cloth on the roof to avoid unnecessary scratches. Moreover, use the provided ruler to measure the appropriate distance of 700-800mm between the crossbars.

When positioning the crossbars on your car's roof, it is crucial to correctly identify the front and rear bars. Be careful not to mix them up. After the initial installation, promptly verify all bolted connections. Regularly inspect them, preferably every 1000km (621 miles), depending on usage and conditions. Each re-fitting also requires a thorough check.

Avoid overloading your luggage. If you're installing a roof rack basket, remember to factor in its weight within the load capacity of the bars.

Take precaution when going through an automatic car wash. Remove the roof rack crossbars beforehand, as they are susceptible to scratching and could potentially damage your vehicle.

If your crossbars are making noise due to an unexpected gap, you can try using the included black tape to cover it. We hope you won't need to use it, however.
